Memphis Entrepreneurship Academy Saturday enrichment camps are back!

Memphis Entrepreneurship Academy (MEA) enters its 9th year of working with children ages 7 to 18 in our Saturday Enrichment program. MEA works on developing skills in Entrepreneurship, S.T.E.M., Coding, Writing, Reading, and Public Speaking. The underlying values and lessons that children learn through the skills MEA implements in our program will carry them not only through their academic careers but in their personal and professional lives as well as they mature into adulthood. Our Saturday Enrichment Camps will meet twice a month at 9:00 am to 12:00 pm starting September 23, 2023. Our classes will be in person, we will follow ALL local and national safety guidelines to keep our students and staff safe. Learning Objectives:
- Future City Design, each student will design what a future city would look like to them.
- Minecraft, students will learn the importance of natural resources and develop small and large structures.
- Entrepreneurship, students will learn how to create a business plan.
- Chess, to develop thinking skills, enhances mental prowess and directly contributes to academic performance.
- Each student will have a membership in National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE Jr)
- We have lined of Guess speakers (local and national entrepreneurs, business men and woman) To speak with our students.
